Bachelor of science in Agriculture is usually of 4 years' duration. We follow the semester system of evaluation.

Bachelor of science in Agriculture is divided into modules. Since this course is spread over a period of 4 years, therefore, we follow the semester system of evaluation. The student must have 75% attendance in each course for appearing in the examination. Students who have 74% to 65% of attendance shall apply for condonation in the prescribed form with the prescribed fee.

Students who have 64% to 50% of attendance shall apply for condonation in the prescribed form with the prescribed fee along with the Medical Condition Certificate. Students who have below 50% of attendance are not eligible to appear for the examination.

The minimum period required for the completion of B.Sc (Ag) will be eight semesters, extending to a maximum of 12 consecutive semesters. The duration of the semester will be 20 weeks with at least 105 instruction days and each academic year would consist of two semesters.

This program is predominantly assessed through, class tests, seminar, quiz, assignment, attendance, theoretical exam papers and practical. The internal component of every module comprises of 20% and external comprises of 50% and practical paper comprises of 30%. To pass the examination in any semester the candidate must obtain 33% in internals, 50% in externals, 33% in practicals and overall 40% which is strictly required.

Admission to the first year of B.Sc (Ag) the course will be made strictly on the basis of merit obtained by the candidate in a competitive examination called combined entrance test to be conducted by the Bundelkhand university on the date and centres announced from time to time.

The entrance examination will be opened to Indian citizens or an NRI. A candidate will be eligible to appear in the combined entrance test. If a candidate is physically fit and had passed/appeared in the qualifying examination i.e intermediate examination (10+2) in agriculture or science (bio group only), should have obtained minimum second division in the qualifying examination and has not crossed 21 years of age on July 1st of that academic year. The candidate selected by Bundelkhand University will be allowed to take admission only after producing the mark sheet of the qualifying examination.
