Smt. Amrit Kunwar College operates within a comprehensive legal and governance framework, which includes its founding acts and Memorandum of Association. The institution is registered under the Uttar Pradesh Societies Registration Act of 1860 and functions as a non-profit entity dedicated to the advancement of education and rural development. The Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) serves as the foundational charter of the college, explicitly delineating its objectives and operational framework. The primary mission is to promote inclusive education and facilitate holistic student development. The college is committed to providing undergraduate education in Arts, Science, Agriculture Science, Education, and Physical Education disciplines as permitted by Bundelkhand University.
