Applicants must possess at least a 50% grade in their graduation or postgraduate qualification to be eligible for admission.
Applicants are required to participate in the UP B.Ed. Joint Entrance Examination (UPBEDJEE). Application processing will only commence after the candidate has completed the examination. Admissions are based on merit, determined by the highest marks obtained in the qualifying or entrance examinations, following the admission policies established by the state government or Bundelkhand University.
The program is structured into modules, covering a period of two years, with assessments conducted on an annual basis. Candidates are required to select two pedagogical subjects from the following options: Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, English, Social Science, Home Science, Commerce, Mathematics, Life Science, Physical Science, Computer Science, and Agriculture. Attendance requirements stipulate that students must maintain at least 75% attendance in each course to be eligible for examinations. Attendance between 65% and 74% necessitates application for condonation using the prescribed form and fee. Attendance between 50% and 64% also requires condonation, in addition to submission of a Medical Condition Certificate and payment of applicable fees. Students with attendance below 50% are ineligible to sit for the examinations.
Assessment components are as follows:
- Theory: The internal evaluation constitutes 20% of the total, while the external examination accounts for 80%. A minimum overall score of 40% in theory is required to pass.
- Teaching Practicum: Candidates must achieve an overall score of 60% to pass.
- Field Engagement: Similarly, a minimum of 60% overall score is mandated for passing.

Tuition fees are in accordance with Bundelkhand University guidelines. The institution charges only those fees prescribed by the State Government or Bundelkhand University, in compliance with NCTE Regulation 2002, and does not impose additional charges such as donations or capitation fees. Our college serves as a conduit through which the Government of Uttar Pradesh and Bundelkhand University distribute scholarships to eligible students. However, the institution does not influence or determine scholarship awards. It should also be noted that Amrit College does not provide scholarships independently.
Smt Amrit Kunwar College adheres to the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines regarding fee refunds to ensure transparency and fairness. These policies apply in the event of a student withdrawing from admission after fee payment. Refund regulations are as follows:
- Full refund (minus a ₹1,000 processing fee) if withdrawal occurs up to 15 days before the commencement of the academic session.
- Ninety percent refund if withdrawal occurs less than 15 days before the session begins.
- Eighty percent refund if withdrawal occurs within 15 days after the session has commenced.
- Fifty percent refund if withdrawal occurs between 16 to 30 days after the session begins.
- No refund will be provided after 30 days from the start of the session.
