Eligibility for this examination is limited to Indian citizens. Candidates must have passed or appeared for the intermediate examination (10+2) in either Agriculture or Science (Biology group only), with a minimum of a second division. Additionally, candidates should not be older than 21 years of age as of July 1st of the admission year. Applicants selected by Bundelkhand University will be permitted to register only upon submission of their qualifying examination mark sheet.
Admissions to the first year of the B.Sc. (Agriculture) program will be strictly merit-based, determined through a competitive entrance examination conducted by Bundelkhand University. The exam date and centers will be announced periodically.

Attendance is a prerequisite for examination eligibility. A minimum attendance of 75% is mandatory for participation in assessments. Students with attendance between 65% and 74% may apply for condonation by submitting the prescribed form along with the applicable fee. Those with attendance between 50% and 64% must also submit a Medical Condition Certificate in addition to the condonation form and fee. Students with attendance below 50% are ineligible to sit for examinations.
Assessment methods include class tests, seminars, quizzes, assignments, attendance, theoretical exams, and practicals. The internal evaluation component accounts for 20%, the practical component accounts for 30%, while the theory component accounts for 50%, depending on the subject. To successfully pass any semester, students must attain an overall minimum score of 34% in theory.

The tuition fees are in accordance with the guidelines issued by Bundelkhand University. The institution charges only such fees as prescribed by the State Government or Bundelkhand University, without imposing additional charges such as donations or capitation fees. Our college functions as a conduit for the provision of government scholarships from the Uttar Pradesh government and Bundelkhand University; however, we do not influence the scholarship decision process. It is important to note that Amrit College does not administer any scholarships to its students.
Smt Amrit Kunwar College adheres to the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines regarding fee refunds to ensure transparency and fairness. These policies apply in the event of a student withdrawing from admission after fee payment. Refund regulations are as follows:
- Full refund (minus a ₹1,000 processing fee) if withdrawal occurs up to 15 days before the commencement of the academic session.
- Ninety percent refund if withdrawal occurs less than 15 days before the session begins.
- Eighty percent refund if withdrawal occurs within 15 days after the session has commenced.
- Fifty percent refund if withdrawal occurs between 16 to 30 days after the session begins.
- No refund will be provided after 30 days from the start of the session.
