To fulfil the academic admission requirements for this program, applicants must possess a minimum of 50% marks in the 10+2 examinations from a recognised educational board in any stream. Candidates are required to have completed their undergraduate degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks. For applicants applying for the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), the minimum age as of 1st July 2020 must be 18 years. Additionally, applicants must be domiciled in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
Applicants are expected to participate in the Uttar Pradesh D.El.Ed. counselling process (UPDELED). Admission decisions are based on merit, determined by the highest marks obtained in the 10+2 and undergraduate examinations, and are in accordance with the admission policies established by the state government or Bundelkhand University.

Students must achieve a minimum of 75% attendance in each course to be eligible to sit for the examinations. Students with attendance between 65% and 74% must submit a condonation request along with the prescribed fee. Those with attendance between 50% and 64% must also apply for condonation, including a medical certificate and fee. Students with attendance below 50% are ineligible to take the examinations.
D.El.Ed is a two-year professional training program, divided into four semesters, 6 months each. The examination board evaluates academic subjects and educational activities through written exams, unit tests, sessional work, practical exercises, presentations, projects or models, and internships.
Assessment components are as follows:
- Theory: The internal evaluation constitutes 50% of the total, while the external examination accounts for 50%. A minimum overall score of 50% in theory and 60% in internal evaluations is required, while an overall minimum score of 60% is required to pass.
- Teaching Practicum: Candidates must achieve an overall score of 60% to pass.

The tuition fee conforms to the guidelines set forth by Bundelkhand University. The college will only modify the fee as prescribed by the State Government or Bundelkhand University, in accordance with NCTE Regulation 2002. The institution does not charge donations or capitation fees. Our college serves as a conduit for scholarships provided by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and Bundelkhand University; however, we do not influence or determine scholarship decisions. Amrit College does not provide scholarships to its students.
Smt Amrit Kunwar College adheres to the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines regarding fee refunds to ensure transparency and fairness. These policies apply in the event of a student withdrawing from admission after fee payment. Refund regulations are as follows:
- Full refund (minus a ₹1,000 processing fee) if withdrawal occurs up to 15 days before the commencement of the academic session.
- Ninety percent refund if withdrawal occurs less than 15 days before the session begins.
- Eighty percent refund if withdrawal occurs within 15 days after the session has commenced.
- Fifty percent refund if withdrawal occurs between 16 to 30 days after the session begins.
- No refund will be provided after 30 days from the start of the session.
