Eligibility criteria for admission to the BA program stipulate that applicants must have completed their 10+2 education from a recognized board. Additionally, our institution requires candidates to have achieved a minimum aggregate score of 50% at the Class 12 level.
Admission may be granted either based on academic merit or through an entrance examination administered by the university.
Typically, the Bachelor of Arts program spans three years and adopts a semester-based evaluation system. Students have the opportunity to study a combination of ten subjects, primarily related to Humanities and Social Sciences. All ten subjects are elective, with students selecting their courses from a broad array of options. During each semester, students are expected to choose three subjects; additionally, there are two to three compulsory minor papers each term. In the initial two years, students may choose three elective subjects, while in the final year, they are required to focus on two core subjects out of three.

Attendance is a prerequisite for examination eligibility. A minimum attendance of 75% is mandatory for participation in assessments. Students with attendance between 65% and 74% may apply for condonation by submitting the prescribed form along with the applicable fee. Those with attendance between 50% and 64% must also submit a Medical Condition Certificate in addition to the condonation form and fee. Students with attendance below 50% are ineligible to sit for examinations.
Assessment methods include class tests, seminars, quizzes, assignments, attendance, theoretical exams, and practicals. The internal evaluation component accounts for 25%, while the external assessment constitutes 75%, depending on the subject. To successfully pass any semester, students must attain an overall minimum score of 33% in theory.

The tuition fees are in accordance with the guidelines issued by Bundelkhand University. The institution charges only such fees as prescribed by the State Government or Bundelkhand University, without imposing additional charges such as donations or capitation fees. Our college functions as a conduit for the provision of government scholarships from the Uttar Pradesh government and Bundelkhand University; however, we do not influence the scholarship decision process. It is important to note that Amrit College does not administer any scholarships to its students.
Smt Amrit Kunwar College adheres to the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines regarding fee refunds to ensure transparency and fairness. These policies apply in the event of a student withdrawing from admission after fee payment. Refund regulations are as follows:
- Full refund (minus a ₹1,000 processing fee) if withdrawal occurs up to 15 days before the commencement of the academic session.
- Ninety percent refund if withdrawal occurs less than 15 days before the session begins.
- Eighty percent refund if withdrawal occurs within 15 days after the session has commenced.
- Fifty percent refund if withdrawal occurs between 16 to 30 days after the session begins.
- No refund will be provided after 30 days from the start of the session.
